What can RDS London do to help?
RDS London has a full-time User Involvement Lead, Carol Porteous, who is the primary point of contact for those who require support on PPI from RDS London. Carol works with investigators, assessing their needs and provides feedback to ensure that good PPI practice is adopted, which is relevant and aligned with the expectation of funding bodies. Several information leaflets have also been produced to support our aims of incorporating PPI into research, if you would like these in hard copy please contact us. RDS London also provides financial support to researchers through its Enabling Involvement Fund to facilitate the involvement of service users in the design of health and social care research.
