If you are a patient, carer or service user with an interest in health research, or if you are a member of a patient group or support group then read on.
RDS London provides support to researchers on a wide variety of research proposals in all areas of health and social care research. For each of these studies we encourage researchers to work closely with voluntary sector groups and patients and the public to ensure their views are embedded in their proposed research.
We are continually looking for further groups or individuals who would like to get involved in research and provide much needed input and feedback. No special skills are required, just a willingness to contribute!
If you would like to be added to our database of individuals and groups that would like to be involved in health and social care research or if you would like more information then please contact Carol Porteous (Patient and Public Involvement Lead) or Sophie Pask (Patient and Public Involvement Assistant).
In addition please have a look at the Involving London website, where you will find an array of information for patients and the public who are looking to get involved in research. This site also has an Opportunities Board of projects and groups looking for people to get involved.
