Patient & Public Involvement
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is an integral component of the advice given to those approaching RDS London. Support is given on an individual level, ensuring that researchers adopt good PPI practice that is relevant and aligned with the expectations of funding bodies.

RDS London creates many information resources and provided workshops, which are extremely well received by those attending. A database of charities, groups and individuals, all of whom are willing to get involved in health and social care research is continually being updated and provides a key resource for researchers looking for support.

RDS London has now launched its Enabling Involvement Fund to facilitate involvement of patients and the public in designing and developing a research proposal. This fund, although small, has the potential to be very meaningful for researchers and patients and the public and the feedback so far has been excellent.
