RDS London can provide wide ranging support to those submitting applied health research proposals to recognised funding bodies. Access to the service is primarily through the RDS London website, where investigators are asked to complete our online support request form. An RDS London Adviser from your local team is then allocated and they may well be able to answer your questions and give some broad initial feedback via e-mail. It may however be more appropriate to meet with you or your team and we can provide a suitable venue. RDS London also holds regular drop-in sessions and clinics across London, mainly in prominent places at NHS Trusts. These provide a perfect opportunity for investigators to meet with the RDS London team and start discussions on their research studies. Once our adviser has provided some initial feedback, they will co-ordinate the input of further expertise within RDS London as required. Our service is not limited to just one consultation and many investigators work with us over a period of many weeks to ensure that they have the greatest chances of success. On occasion, RDS London may wish to discuss your proposal with a wider range of experts and will let you know that it would like to present it at one of its panel review meetings.
